There’s a really awesome audio essay project that’s been going for awhile, called Immediatism, headed by Cory Immediatism.
It’s a brilliant thing: Cory reads and records anarchist, esoteric, and similarly-aligned essays, and then puts them out for free as a massive audio archive for anyone to listen to.
Cory has already read and recorded over 600 such works.
Let me say that again, but really big:
Cory has already read and recorded over 600 such works.
I know of no other project of any sort, regardless of political alignment, all done by one person.
Anyway, Cory has previously recorded several of my essays, and I just learned this morning another one has been released (and two more are in the works).
The recent release is a recording of the first excerpt/chapter of my upcoming book, Being Pagan, called “Connecting to Pagan Time.”
It’s available here: Being Pagan: Connecting to Pagan Time at Immediatism
The next two excerpts will also be recorded, and I’ll update you on that. Previous essays of mine recorded by Cory are:
The New Luddite Rebellion
The Future Is Fascist
The World Without Forms
And are all compiled at this link.
And as I said, Cory has already recorded more than 600 of such works. One of those essays is my favorite essay by another writer, Peter Grey’s “Rewilding Witchcraft.” And there are hundreds and hundreds of others. Go check it out!
