I know I will. I'm just climbing down from a short stint hanging off of Yggdrasil and the timing couldn't be better.

Ordered as a birthday present for myself. Can't wait!

Would love to see you in Portland or Seattle if it's feasible.

I'm sure I'll be hitting Seattle when in the US. Let's definitely meet up!

SInce there were some Portland Antifa accounts warning people to kick me "out of radical spaces" on account of my criticism of Alexander Reid Ross, though, I'd need to know I was expecting a large supportive turnout for a Portland event before agreeing ...

sheesh. unfortunately i haven't got any clout or community in Portland proper, i live in the sticks with the normies. but seattle makes for a fine day trip and it would be a blast to have a chance to say hi. here's hoping that can happen!

I live in the Portland area and would love to meet you! But I'll do my best to make it to Seattle if you won't be able to make it to Portland.

If I've enough people willing to be there in Portland I'll definitely come down.

I think it would be interesting to hear a conversation between you and Alexander Beiner about your book. He writes on Substack about psychology, psychedelics and culture from a more centrist perspective but I really appreciate the way he draws from thinkers on the right and left and then transcends some of the base assumptions on both sides. Here is his recent post about identity politics and culture wars. https://beiner.substack.com/p/pride-of-the-elites-political-correctness

Are you stopping in Brussels on your way? I am part of a witchy gang there who I think would be very interested to meet with you.

You know, that's a total possibility, though it would be after the UK part (therefore, likely early October). Do you know of any large bookstores with significant English sections that host readings? A radical cafe or other similar place would also work.

If you email me at annasmedeby@yahoo.co.uk we can discuss. I think Dougald Hine has some other friends in Brussels, but I don't know who they are. It might be worth checking with him, too.

Looking forward to your dates in the UK, Rhyd! I'll try my darndest to attend one of them. Coming to Bristol, by any chance? We could do with your book here.... xxx

Bristol is on my list of places to try to do readings, especially since I know a lot of people in Cornwall and Devon also. Do you readily know of a left-leaning or radical book store there which often hosts readings?

Fantastic!!

I don't know of such a book shop, but I can easily do some research. There's bound to be one.

Great! That would be helpful. The book's publicist may already have a few places in mind but it's best to have some extra.

PS I'm from Devon originally and have spent a bit of time in Cornwall recently. The South West is fab! :)

What do you think of Distributism?

https://dlp.org.au/about/distributism/#:~:text=Distributism%20is%20an%20economic%20system,the%20poorest%20and%20most%20disadvantaged.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Distributism

Though the time to apply it was over 100 years ago. Here is a book recently published about how two generations ago academic studies had indicated the social health of a community was stronger when based on small scale ownership and how that information was kept from guiding regulations and laws . It was here where I live in the Central Valley and the communities studied are near me. Of course Industrial scale agribusiness is now pre- eminent here.
