I am so non technical that 'telegram' only signifies the original use of this word. I would need it explained.

That picture looks like a weasel to me. I guess you have both beech and pine martens where you are, though?

I have the Telegram App and find it confusing and difficult to find the things I am interested in - so I use it minimally. I probably would not follow you there.Sorry

I have a real mix of groups I belong to on Telegram and find it somewhat overwhelming when they're really big, but I'd definitely check in with what you were saying there.

Very taken with your use of "folks" to refer to the local marten population. I should be so bold, but I know at best I would have been able to muster a "critters" or a "lil guys." Your strength is your unapologetic commitment to treating the animals and plants and spirits of the world as People; I like to think I could get there myself. Eventually.

Hope you're enjoying the snowfall tonight.

Whenever I pass an animal dead on the road, I quickly draw a pentagram with one finger and visualize the animal with the Goddess. Oddly, the Goddess who comes to mind is based on Albrecht Durer's drawing of the Madonna with Animals in which she and the Christ child are surrounded by various wild animals including a fox, owl, parrot, and what may be intended as a lion. Here in the California foothills the most frequent road victims are skunks, racoons, deer. Varies by season of course.
